STUDENT VISA : วีซ่านักเรียน

This is the unique visa that allows you to study over 3 months in Australia and work part-time to a maximum of 48 hours per 2 weeks). This visa is recommended for those who want to study in Australia for over 3 months.

Some conditions to consider include the following:

  1.  You cannot apply for a student visa unless you have been enrolled in an accredited Australian institution, have paid all fees and received an e-COE (electronic Confirmation of Enrolment)
  2.  You must be enrolled in a FULL TIME course superior or equal to 3 months (12 weeks): it can be an English course, vocational training, university degrees, secondary studies… with the conditions they are all CRICOS accredited;
  3.  You can work up to 20 hours per week during your studies and full time during your school holidays (Note: you cannot work unless you have started your course).
  4. You must have paid the compulsory OSHC (Overseas Students Health Cover) with the selected Australian institution
  5. This visa can be renewed several times as long as you are enrolled in a full time course each time and when your student visa expires, it may be renewed into a different visas such as visitor visa, Sponsorship visa or permanent residency.
  6. You may have to undertake medical exams and X-rays

TRAVEL VISA : วีซ่าท่องเที่ยว

This Visa is for people to visit Australia for a holiday, sightseeing, social or recreational reasons, to visit relatives, friends or for other short-term non-work purposes up to 12 months. There are a number of visas available for people to visit Australia as a tourist.

Some conditions to consider include the following:
        1. You must have a return airline ticket
        2. You can study up to 3 months maximum
        3. This visa can be renewed in Australia for another visitor stay as long as the total duration  on the country is not over 12 months and there is no mention of NO FURTHER STAY on your visa (applicants will be required to show financial evidence of minimum AU$ 1000/month of stay)
        4. Depending on your country, you may be eligible to renew onto a student visa or    occupational trainee visa
         5. You are not allowed to work at all!!

WORKING & HOLIDAY VISA : วีซ่าทำงานและท่องเที่ยว

Australia’s Working Holiday Visa program promotes cultural exchange by allowing travelers to explore Australia for up to a year while taking on short-term jobs to cover expenses. Available through reciprocal agreements with many countries, the visa is ideal for those aged 18 to 30 who want to travel and work.

Key conditions include:

  • Valid for 1 year from arrival
  • Must be applied for outside of Australia
  • Allows up to 4 months of study
  • Permits full-time work, but only up to 6 months with a single employer
  • Renewal options include visitor, student, or sponsorship visas

Additional requirements apply for extended stays in select countries like the USA, Turkey, and Chile.

It is a very complex process to apply for the permanent residency and the requirements are regularly modified and updated by by the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
